Has anyone seen something like this before? It's the black dot encircled by a white ring next to her eye. This was on the face of a 3 day old black Australorp chick I got from TSC last spring. She's about 5 weeks old in the picture, and it looks like a wart, sort of. I got her in March, so I'm thinking it's not fowl pox. She was the only one who had anything like it, and it fell off eventually. Not a great picture; my phone was probably focusing on the bedding or wall. Your thoughts?

Unfortunately, no. The pullet in question is now 10 months old, and that is the only picture I have of her with the spot by her eye showing while it was there. Yeah, I kind of thought it wouldn't be clear enough, but I posted it and asked anyway. Mostly because I am curious.

When it fell off, there was a tiny, pin prick sized white dot left. That is since long gone too.

Looks like the start of Fowl Pox or maybe an infected injury.
