This welsummer has me totally bamboozled!

I have 5 welsummer chicks about 4 1/2 weeks old. THere are two that have large combs, dark breast feathers and act like roos. Two have small combs, act like hens and have light coloured breast feathers. THis one has a large comb, acts like a rooster but it has chestnut coloured breast feathers...? Do they do that some times? Is is a fault in the colouring? Will he still feather in like the others? I really do think it is a roo...

flyingmonkeypoop, I believe it was, just told me that he hatched out some cockerels that had salmon-colored breast feathers. I'd say you have yourself a boy there.
