Those of you who do deep litter method

Do you clean it out in the winter, or just add to it?

I just added a bunch and there is a TON of bedding in there now with the fresh stuff. I also added some hay. Not sure if I should scoop some out, or keep adding until spring?

I scoop out the wet poopy stuff and just keep adding. I do a total redo in the spring.

Wet poopy stuff is frozen SOLID in my coop, lol
