Those with hardware cloth aprons around your coop--a question

What stakes do you use to secure it? Or do you use them at all? I was thinking to stake it down and then put some 12 inch pavers on top of that. will that be enough? not sure what to stake it with though.

You could cut some wire clothes hangers in half. You would have 2 stakes per hanger. Then put pavers on top of the stakes.

If you are putting 12" pavers you're doing double duty.
The Outside hardware cloth is to be buried 3-4 inches below ground in order to keep out predators which will attempt to bury UNDER to run.

The only purpose of the hardware cloth INSIDE the run is to keep in the tiny baby chickies. it is to be bent vertical to the inside wall and secured.
