Thought I lost a duck!!!

I have a pair of Rouens and a pair of muscovy ducks. When I went out to feed them yesterday, I was horrified to find only 3 ducks in the enclosure! i searched everywhere trying to figure out what could have happened...then I looked under the duck house...(its only raised about 5in.) she was laying under there! I thought she was dead! when my husband lifted the house we found that she is alive and well and sitting on 9 eggs
I have no clue how her sneaky little but got under there! I always remove any eggs i find lol.
So anyway what should I do? I dont have the heart to take them from her. she made a nice little nest but it gets wet under there and the eggs are really dirty. will she just know if they are bad? I dont know the process here so can someone tell me what i should do?

Do you want ducklings? If yes, let well enough alone.
I would figure she will know if they are bad, based on her experience.

Crafty girl! Mine found a way to get behind the nesting "box" I gave them, my daughter found a ton of duck AND chicken eggs back there! We just take them out every once in a while....Yesterday there were at least a dozen. Given we have no rooster, the chicken eggs would be bad but the ducks could hatch.

None of them have gone broody back there, but my cochin went broody, so we shoved 6 duck eggs in there with her, and took out the chicken eggs. One of the others prefers that box, so she will sit on top of Chuckles the Cochin and lay her egg. Dork! So I have to fish out the chicken egg while checking the duck eggs.
