Thought I would share my painting

Since I am an artist, my chickens are forced to participate in my life style.. They must pose, and allow me to paint their pictures. This is a painting I finished today of my Granddaughter and Bossy. She was a bit afraid to touch Bossy and rightly so- Bossy came by her name in a honest fashion. It is an oil on deep canvas...( which means it does not need a frame the canvas has painted sides.) I think it is about 14 inches by 14 inches. The photo was taken about 7 years ago.

I like it !--Thank you. It was so much fun to paint.- When I finished I rewarded myself by going to get a parfait. Vanilla icecream with bananas,pineapple and strawberries.

Hey Tamdog, I like your painting, nice work, I too am a painter and today I painted our wonderful accidental Roo's portrait as a Father's Day gift for my Hubby! He is about 18 weeks old and a really fun guy! Getting better with his 12 hens. WE love him and his name is Salvador Dali, he is a WFBS. I am so happy to see other painters here on this site. I followed you. I am on the East Coast- you are on the West Coast! We have a lot in common. I have worked with troubled teens as well!
I also write - but I do not do music. I love to sing, and I sing a lot. Once I was singing in the kitchen and my son came through. I said " I wish I could sing." He said " We do too mom.. We do too"

Wow, both of your paintings are so beautiful.
I took lots of drawing and painting classes in my first two years of college - my degree was a BFA in computer-generated art and programming, but your artwork makes me want to get back into painting.
