Phil is a beautiful white crested black polish rooster. I got him when he was five weeks old. He is now 13 weeks and it was discovered by the daily crooning that he is not a girl but a boy. I wish we could keep him because he is so beautiful - his feathers are so black that they look blue. The city of San Diego allows me to have up to five (which is the number I got) hens but no roosters. Once we heard Phil a few times we came to the sad realization that he needs to go somewhere where he can grow and swoon a group of ladies...somewhere other than our backyard.
He will greatly be missed but it's the law. He is free for the taking and if you are interested in such a handsome roo, let me know and we can coordinate. Thanks much BYC folks
