Been reedin thru the forums and lookin at great pics of beautiful birds! We just started raising chickens round easter. I have had a small flock before but it was taken over by my gramps..... he wanted the fighting blood.... old skool lol
As of today we have 7 lil chickletts.... we had 8 but my french mastiff thought he'd play with the blonde of the bunch.... lol "I had a pet birdie, but himz no move no mo...
" lol that was the look on his face wen I found the poor lil gurl nxt to him.... we have 2 neked necks, 2 barrd rocks, 2 crested, and a red/brown leggern. I ordered 16 more from Ideal. They arrive on the 24th! CAN'T WAIT! Got a pair for each one of my princesses! A pr of self blue d'uccles, buff silkies, silver laced cochins, and a pr of golden laced wyandottes!
Those were for my girls. I ordered breeding prs of blk sexlinks and a pr of minorcas for my wife. As for me.... well I got myself breeding prs of red shoulder yokohamas and black sumatras.
We r in the great state of TEXAS and would like any critiques on our birds! I am interrested in getting my oldest into showing and would like any info I can get! Nice to finally be apart of the joy of chicklettness!
