Thoughts on best layer feed for Silkies and Bantam

I am currently feeding my chicks (8 & 12 wks) silkies and a green queen bantam from Meyer Hatchery Nutrena NatureWise Chick stater. I've been doing research on layer feed, but wondering everyone's opion on pellets vs crumble for smaller chickens. I plan to have oyster shells available to them as well. Thank you in advance for your expertise!

Please don't use layer feed for none high production breed types, it's not formulated for them. It's only formulated for High Production Hybrids, & Leghorn chickens.

Feed an All Flock type feed, or All Flock, which includes Chick Starter feed, & just feed oyster shells in separate container, or feeder for the ladies to regulate their own calcium intake?
