Thoughts on GroGel Plus?

So we got a new batch of chicks about 3 days ago through the mail. The hatchery sent us the GroGel Plus packet 2 days after they arrived. I don't see any point in using it now. They are all eating and drinking very well. Should I just save it for another batch of chicks or is it even worth it? Last chicks we had barely touched the stuff. That's if they touched it at all. I think the majority of it got buried. What's everyone's thoughts on it?

I agree. I don't see the point in using it now. I think it should be used in the shipping container. My understanding is that it provides moisture to the chicks in transit where they can't have water.
