Thoughts on these 4 week old Blue EE's...

So I guess they would be classified as EE's, not the coloring I usually see on here. But the Dad was probably a Black Orpington and they hatched from blue eggs (maybe a splash Ameraucana?) When is the best age to check for gender on these birds? I know our Orpingtons were always hard for me to tell on and so are EE's from what I hear. Here is a few pics of the 2 that hatched this color.

Do those look like pea combs? Wondering if they will be blue layers like the shell they can out of... Assuming one is a girl.

Both look pullet-y so far, might take another few weeks to be certain though.
