I have 3 hens sitting on Eggs for the past 2 1/2 weeks what should be done if they start to hatch should
they be taken into the warm house with the moms.
its 20 degrees and the coop has a heat lamp but they stay
in their nest and the lamp is on the other side.of the coop
and it would be to difficult to move closer to their nest.
I believe I have a total of 26 eggs between them.

Move the Lamp closer??? I hope it warms up....make sure they will ahve water and chick feed handy...once hatched I believe I would make a broader and have it in the house. It will keep you busy, watching the nest however....20 degrees is cold....I prefer 68 myself and the chicks like 95 degrees.
Good Luck!
PYC Forum is wher we all start the race as an EGG!

I would say the hens can keep them warm when they hatch. If they kept them warm enough to get to the hatch then I am sure they can brood the chicks too.
