Three Month old missing feathers. Is this normal???

Hi Me and My wife are new to this forum and raising chickens. We just received two pullets and Shiver our Bantam has missing feathers while Peep our Barred Rock has a full amount of feathers. Is this normal for younger chicks or is this something we should be concerned about?

Any help and advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Glad you could join the flock!! Different breeds and even just individual birds fully feather out at different rates. At 12 weeks my thought would be that she still needs to grow those last few adult feathers. I would just check her for mites or other parasites just incase but if she is healthy,active and eating normally I wouldn't be worried and would give her more time to feather up.

Thanks for the Info, we checked her the next day for signs of mites and all was looking great, she just has to grow into her feathers a little more.
