Three week old chick looks 'wet'

I know that chicks/ens have an oil gland that they spread the oil to their feathers, but this newish, purchased chick, a three-week old bought from a farm supply chain, and who looked and acted fine for this last couple weeks, suddenly (since last night) looks wet and is chirpy. Ideas? They are in a xl dog cage, outfitted with shavings, etc, BUT not with a scratch box with dirt/DE.

Any help would be sooo appreciated!

*edit: I have read that they may be new feathers coming in, but she's been getting her 'real' feathers for some time, as you can see, but she seems distressed as well (chirpy, stand-offish). Should I add a dusting box?

I don’t put a dusting box in my brooder. They scratch scratch in the shavings. Does this bird interact with the others?

That chick does not look good at all. Is her butt clean? Does she have diarrhea? She looks sick or possibly injured and with babies time is of the essence. This likely has nothing to do with oil glands or mites or any of that. Make sure she stays warm enough.

I think you should post this in the emergency/diseases section. That chick needs help asap.
