Thye wouldn't eat kale

I got my pullets from somewhere else and they are funny when I feed them treats. They wouldn't even touch the Kale I bought at the store, and strawberry tops they just sniffed. They love grass though. Will they get use to it, or should I just give grass and scratch and forget the rest. I don't think they got treats from where they were before, just good feed.

They'll get used to it. Treats may be a whole new concept to them.
My chickens love fruit and pasta, but won't touch greens. I think it's because they free range and get their quota of greens on their own.

K-chick, my girls won't eat strawberry tops either! Go figure.

actually the chickens need whole some feed
such as crumbles and if you give thewm the kale every day cut up in a bowl they will get used to it
try putting it in with some other food like mashed potatoes or some canned corn over it
then they will get the taste of the cron on it

chickens are a funny lot they really need to be educated to treats

makes me wonder if chickens have taste buds ? Kale is "spicy", sorry its the only word I can think of for the taste when its raw... But then again strawberry tops arent.
