our chicks are 7 weeks old now and growing by leaps and bounds. I still have them in the house since it has been so very hot and my husband doesnt have their coop ready yet.
We have 5 chicks 2 of which are roos. So can someone give me a suggestion on what to switch them to. I looked but my gosh there are so many types. These are not meat birds.. they are pets.
I do take them outside when it is not "melt your skin off your bones" hot outside. I also give them all sorts of treats like, tomatoes from the garden, cucumbers, apples, peaches, pears, green beans, pasta and when we had corn I gave them the cobs when we were done with them and any corn worms I found. They have also had 2 huge tomato worms. Ohh and I have given them lettuce. The only thing they dont like is potatoes.
Thank you in advance.
