so I went out today to collect the eggs, and I found this one lone egg in the nesting box. I know they usually lay tiny eggs as their first egg, but they have been laying for a couple years. Should I be worried or is it just a random weird tiny egg? does this signify the end of their laying years (which is fine btw, they are pets until they die a natural death) I have all bantams, so the comparison picture is of a bantam egg and then an even tinier egg

It's a fart egg. Hens of any age can lay them.

No need to worry!

thanks for the reassurance! I'm a worrywart and I would hate it if something happened to my ladybirds!
