Tiny eggs!

One of my hens decided to lay a tiny egg today I found it on he floor and there was yolk in it! Does anyone know why this might be?

Funny little Fairy Egg! I wouldn't be too concerned unless it happens all the time. The article link given you is really helpful in figuring out possible causes for some of the stranger eggs that show up.
