My DH found this little baby girl abandoned under a storage shed next to a busy road a couple days ago - no mommy, siblings, or owner to be found. By her size, I'm guessing she's only about 4 weeks old and too young to be away from momma.
I've had success raising youngsters before, wild and domestic, and would love to help this little tyke out, but including the farm critters, we have over 50 other pets and can't afford to properly care for her for long. She had fleas when he brought her home. I gave her a flea bath that got rid of the adults, at least.
She looks small enough to be on milk still, but I couldn't get her to take kitten formula, nor eat hard food nor watered/milked down hard food. She did eat some chopped canned food with a little extra water poured in, but I haven't gotten her to drink water at all.
I'm afraid to just post her on Craigslist because you never know what kind of shady folks look for critters like her for sick purposes.
She needs someone who has time to devote to her and can financially afford her needs.
The photos don't do her justice at all. She is MUCH smaller than they make her look and she's so much cuter in person. She's a dilute tabby calico, beautiful.
Let me know if you can provide for her. If you are nearby (within an hour or so of Lucasville/Minford OH) I'd be happy to deliver her.
