Total boy! :S The slicked back crest.. The long hackle feathers.. Yep. Looks just like a roo to me.

Thats what I thought too but was hoping he was a she.... I live in Los Angeles and can't have a boy. Boo hoo hoo ..... Now when to get rid of him... Maybe I'll wait until he crows as he is so attached to his 3 best friend hens.

Well you guys were 100% correct. Tiny got his big boy lungs today ... So boy indeed.

Hopefully he'll be a quiet rooster. I know wishful thinking..... I really don't want to have to give him away.

Sadly he is my only silkie .... But I do have eggs in the bator trying for a girl
