This is one of my little Frizzle/Sizzle ladies,, she's nekkid due to her boyfriend and I don't have a saddle tiny enough to fit her. She went broody yesterday and is sitting on two little bitty eggs. Yes the water in the picture is dirty, I changed it after the picture but I wanted the picture more than I wanted to worry about someone obsessing over the water.

Poor little girl - she needs a little blankie! Why can't the boys do their thing without ripping off the girls clothes err... feathers? Good luck - we love broodies!

Her BF isn't much bigger than her but she has less feathers than the other 3 girls. I'm not wondering if it's due to genetics and her curly feathers.

She may be frazzle. Happens when a frizzle is bred to a frizzle. Frazzles can have very brittle feathers. They can also have health problems, but bad feathers is the most common problem.

I hatched several of those and I don't remember who I got the eggs from but their feathers are curlier and fluffier than anything I've ever seen.

maybe she's just submissive and the preferred lady of the boys. I have a girl that is the submissive type, she use to run from my RIR roo after I rehomed him I ended up with silkie roos (5 then rehomed one of those) now the little boys seem to be making her bald.

She only has one roo,, but she is very submissive and so very tiny that he hurts her without trying to. She is sitting on 2 tiny little eggs and has trouble covering them. Her feathers should recover while in the nest I hope!
