tiny silkies.... seriously?

I have 3 silkies... 5 weeks old now. They are ratty looking teens and the "feathers" on theirs legs are just beginning to come in... these babies are so tiny, like the size of a childs fist. My other 5 week old foyoumis are three times the size (hatchmates) seriously, are they going to ever grow, I can't imagine an egg ever coming out of those babies, not that their purpose was to be anything other than really cute ...

They take FOREVER to mature and some people have reported that their pullets waited until 8 months+ to begin laying. They are just slow growers - I think alot of protein goes into those super fluffy feathers, lol! They will get there though.....
