Tiny, soft, pea sized egg but the suspected hen is in the nesting box less than 12 hours later. Can they remake a misfire that quick?

I'm pretty sure my bantam white wyndotte had a tiny misfire egg. I found what I suspect to be her first egg of the season yesterday. She laid near where I found this egg. Her first egg would have been laid between 2-6 yesterday. I didn't see it when I put the chickens away at 8pm yesterday. I found this egg about 11:30am today. Currently the wyndotte is back in her chosen spot to lay another egg. It's not even 1pm yet. I'm sure she's just getting the equipment warmed up and is having a few duds before she properly lays, but can they have another egg ready to go that quickly? The egg didn't have a yolk and was covered in a tiny dropping typical of my Wyndotte.

I don't suspect my other hens. They all have established nesting spots. They've either already laid their eggs or are currently in their preferred nest to lay. (They also lay brown eggs, not pink) The spot it was found is where my rooster sleeps so I doubt it was an accident overnight. It was also a tiny dropping, and my other hens seem to be in a competition for who can lay the largest droppings. My only other bantam is never on that shelf ever so I don't suspect her. She also just finished laying her egg.

I'm sure it's nothing major, but do I need to worry about reproductive issues? Can a chicken even remake an egg that fast?
They're fed high quality, high protein feed and free range in a yard that's half grass, half weeds, and infested with bugs and earth worms.

It appears there is no yolk, and although I am no expert on this topi, I assume that this egg did not use too many nutrients and she probably already had the other egg ready to lay
