tiny white spot on tip of beak??

HI! We just got 6 chicks we ordered from the feed store last night (a photo would be good here LOL!) and I have a question. The last set of chicks we had and some of these have a white spot on the tip of their beak about the size of a pin head. It seems to go away in a few days. Does anyone know what this is?

It's their egg tooth, they use it to break out of the shell.

I can't remember if that's called an egg-tooth or what. It's there for pipping and unzipping the eggshell.
