Okay fellow rabbit people. Here's the problem. I have two adult male NZW rabbits who are kept in separate cages. Unfortunately the cages were put a bit too close together. Needless to say I now have two very yellow and stinky rabbits.

Any tips on how to clean them up? Especially around the face and ears. They are not active show rabbits so it doesn't have to be perfect. Just want to get them back to at least an off white color until they shed out.

For starters put a solid panel between the two pens so that they are unable to spray urine on one another. Wipe them down with "Handi-wipes" to remove the gross debris. (Pun intended.) Add lots of clean hay, all fluffed up to their pen. As they tunnel through the hay they will self clean. My NZW bucks were always a sorry sight.

Their cages are now far apart so that part of the problem is solved. Never thought of the hay or the handi wipes. They might even give them more of a lemon fresh scent.

Thanks.
