Tips for showing silkies?

So i have an extremly sweet silkie hen, and i would like to show her. My question is are there any tips you can give me (besides bathing,) for making her look her best at a show? any certain brands of soaps, lotions or anything else that could help? she has light and dark browns, and black feathers in her.

Will you be showing in showmanship or the coop show? Also, before you show you'll need to determine whether or not she is show quality. This is CRUCIAL in the coop show. In showmanship it doesn't matter. I just use regular dog shampoo; usually tearless shampoo since my birdies tend to get soap EVERYWHERE.

I use bagbalm as a lotion, but have used baby oil and chapstick.
