Tips on getting my Muscovies to go in at night???

I have lost 2 muscovy males to owls at night in 2 months. I need to find a way to make them go in at night any info or methods appreciated Thanks. TTT

Sorry to hear that! well, do they herd? mine do, that said i have a few where all i can do once warm weather comes is get them into my large fenced area that surrounds the barns... trouble is it's not a pred proof fence but does have large trees and much cover, you can try treats too.

I realize not exactly helpful, but that is my experience, you can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink, same with ducks lol

Is their a penned area or covered place you can convince some to go? what is your set-up? are they being drawn in by a pond? i keep all food, water and pools/troughs in my fenced area to "draw" them back in, usually they all return by dusk, so they get that far on their own.

have you tried treats. maybe feeding them in their runs?
