Tips on keeping chickens away from cars?

Our chickens are free-range and go pretty much anywhere they want.

They have learned that people=food and will chase down anyone as soon as they hear the front door open and follow us to the car. And I think they’re beginning to learn that cars=people as well

They move away when you start to drive, but sometimes you have to get a little too close to them before they move. So if anyone decides to drive a little too quick I fear they might be squashed

Is there any way to deter the chickens from the cars/driveways?

Honking? Pretty obnoxious for anyone else having to hear, though.

I agree, nothing short of physical barriers will keep them away
