TIPS: Saved a baby duck with deformed bill.

[BUTT NUGGETS EXPRESS]

I went to our local feed store to get some chicken bedding and possibly get to ducks at the most. When I got there to look at the Ducks I noticed one had a deformed bill. I picked out my ducklings, but then I had to pick this one too. I just felt bad that what if no one gets it because it's deformed. It looks to be able to eat and drink properly and I've seen it groom itself. We don't know if these ducklings are girls or boys yet. My question is was it a freak accident that When developing its beak, is it just that it didn't develop properly or did it get hurt or stepped on when it was tiny? The guy said that they are about 3 weeks old. Oh and if anyone knows the breeds of them let me know.

Oh that is so sweet of you to take him because no telling what would have become of him/her. I'm assuming it's a birth defect.
Not sure what the dark one is but the other two are Rouens.
