Tips to ensuring successful chicken application

Hi Everyone

I am about to submit my chicken keeping application and I want to ensure that I will be successful. The town application asks what I will do about disposal of a dead chicken. I want to say that I would toss it in my garbage but doubt that will help my application. Do I say that I will bury it? What is the best way to dispose of a dead chicken? Thanks! Mimi

Your city might already have rules about how to dispose of dead animals. You should look them up. Or you can call your trash service company and ask them what they want you to do so that you can put the animal in the trash bin. Burying a sick chicken might cause someone to say that you pollute the soil and water. Good luck.
