Hi everyone, this is very first batch and so far, this is our second assisted hatch (first 1 had pipped but got shrink wrapped, he was slow and kept his eyes closed for the first night to the point we thought he was blind but now we can't tell him apart from the rest of the chicks). This is day 18 and I hadn't seen any pips on my last 3 stragglers, so crack just the shell and checked for movement. Other 2 were not alive at all, but developed. Third was chirping at me, so I misted with warm water and left him be. Checked back a few hours later with no progress but still chirping. I puncture the membrane but there was bleeding so I put him back again to wait. At 10pm (started around 1) I called it because he got was still going nowhere. There was blood, but he was pushing as I was helping. I didn't pull him out of the bottom egg shell but he came out pretty fast.

He seems okay, but I'm worried about the blood. He's sleeping and keeps his eyes closed more (no issues with eyes, they're clean) but is able to wobbly walk around. I'm giving him a mixture of honey, mealworms, and water in a small syringe, giving him a few drops a every 3 minutes (not opening him mouth, just letting him peck it). He had pooped inside the egg and I cleaned him with a warm cotton swab. Is there anything else I can or should be doing? He's getting dryer and moving way more, standing for longer periods and feet look good. It's 1am now I'm keeping him in the incubator except for the 1-2 minutes I'm feeding him.

Forgot to mention, he has almost no egg tooth and that's why he could break through.
