So I've recently finished building my first coop and run and am debating if I should poly the run since parts of it have direct ground contact. I did poly the coop, but have not put poly on the run. I used pressure treated for ground contact 2x4s which is why I'm not sure if I'm supposed to/need to poly them. I live in GA and it rains a lot (also termites) and I want this coop and run to last.

I would just leave it, it's pressure treated so it should last
Also you would use a sealer, not a urethane, for outside wood.
Also not sure what works on PT wood. Personally I don't like PT wood and don't want it near my hens. But with termites that is something you need to think about.

I spy chicken wire...I highly recommend covering that with 1/2 hardware cloth this week.
I used chicken wire because I don't really have predators past hawks and cats to worry about and they can't get through well secured chicken wire :)
