I have eight roosters, maybe six months old ?. They have been running together, but the fighting is terrible. Two of them are not going to last much longer at this rate. Then it will be a different one till there is only one left. Therefore I am going to put them in individual cages and fatten for a future feast.
What is the best food to fatten them fast? Food that will make them healthy, not just fat, for my future feast.

Thanks fer any suggestions.

I was told they were 4 Rhode Island Red, 1 Dominique, 2 White Leghorns, and 1 Australorp, and they probably are. The spurs are not much more than bumps.

They free range all day and are in a coop at night. They get scraps and scratch when they come to the coop at night. The two that are being beat up all the time get very little to eat, cause they stay hid.
They all feel mighty boney to me.
I have another rooster, with my 3 hens, that is much larger than these eight. He is definitely older and his spurs are about 3/4 to 1 inch long.

Thanks
Mule
