To get a Rooster or Not to get a Rooster...

I've had more than my share of roosters. I've gotten rid of many but the ones I have are pretty good boys. It's totally up to you. I have one little leghorn 'white boi' who is a real keeper. Watches his ladies and has never given me one problem.

Really going to need to get over that if you want to hatch chicks.

Why do you want a male bird?
The only real reason is to hatch out more chickens.
Everything else is just personal preference.

I don't necessarily want one or not want one, hence my question to get a rooster or not to get a rooster, just opening the topic to get everyone's 2 cents...
