To hott for chicks outside?

I have 6 week old chicks who love being out side . The problem is today is going to be 100*! They get so mad at me when I bring them in . Not to mention there running out of space in there small chicken coop and need to be moved to the big one! Help !

If they have a lot of shade and breeze and fresh cool water they should be fine outside. I've also wetted the dirt in the shaded areas of their run - they dig down into the cool dirt.

Its been about 100 every day for several days in West Texas. Chicks are fine as long as they have shade and access to water. Its good for them to adapt to weather conditions before they get kicked out in it full time.

Over 100 here too in Ft worth. I have 2- 6 week olds outside. They are fine with shade, a fan and cool water.

Thank u all for your help! I put ice in there h2o and a shade covering we got at lowes that we put over there outdoor area. What if they start panting heavy what would all u do?
