We had a speaker

She was a holocaust survior from Poland. She spent 10 months in Aushwitz1 and 4 months in a camp which she couldnt remember the name. She wouldn't tell her age when she was in Aushwitz and my favorite part.

Of course with a holocaust speaker, someone was going to ask where's your tatto?

She stood back, (obviously it hurts) and said that my name is (I can't spell it) and I'm now an American. I am not identified by a number, and she kissed the girl on the forhead.

Our teacher Mrs Authment asked her what our youth should know.

Walk on the sidewalk and smile at those who pass. I wasn't allowed to walk on the side walk, we walked in the gudders. Stay off the grass, and walk on the sidewalk. You're free, ladies and gentlemen, you're free.

Also she spent about an hour making sure EVERYONE in the room knew how greatful we should be.

Another girl asked about if she had any scars. And if she lost faith.

(I wrote this down)

I have scars, mentally, emotionally, and physically. These wounds run deeper than any doctor will ever understand. I will have these scars forever. I will never lose my faith in Him. I am alive in front of you. I believe God makes chosen people go through Hell, to teach others. Some may block out what they can't see, and since they can't see him, being spiritually blind, then he has his followers show them to way. Those who lose faith, I will pray for. Those who kept faith I pray with. I lost my mother, brother and father to Hitler, but is it all loss? I now have three guardians holding me up, to help me keep my faith.

Our school has been trying to get a speaker for 2 years and yes, we are very lucky
