Going to pick up our very first chickens today! I cannot wait to get statted. We still have snow on the ground here, so they will have to stay inside for quite a while. We live out in the country and will be starting with 6 chockens, but I think by this time next year we will have more. I am so glad this site exists, as I am sure I will have a lot of questions!

We just picked up 3 road island red pullets and 3 barred rock pullets. Just got them settled in the basement and are letting have some time to settle down.
