Hi Everyone....
So I have a RIR named BIG MAMA and she had just finished a molt about 3 weeks ago. I haven't seen an egg from her in forever it seems, anyway this morning I got and egg from my favorite lady. Her egg was so beautiful, it is a really really light shade of brown almost pink and this morning it was like a "fart egg" again it was so small! I am so happy she is giving me eggs again. RED my other RIR is in the nest box right now (which is normal she is a good regular egg layer) and my campine acts like she is ready to start laying again after her sour/impacted crop incident....Now if only that EE of mine would start laying (she is doing the chicken squat and singing the song so it will be soon!) I would have all 4 of my ladies laying!!!!!!
Another good thing about today is PORKUS my golden campine. Last week she was inside the house in a hospital cage for impacted then sour crop! I put her back out with the girls on Sunday and she has been doing really good. Well this morning was her best day and her crop was totally emptied this morning! YEAHHHH! And I fixed her with all the good info I have received on BYC...THANKS.
Anyway so today is a great day and hope you all are havning a great day too!
(I know it's getting close to my EE laying so maybe today I will get a first egg and it will be a SUPER day!)
