Todays Eggs

[Riverwood Farm]

We have a small flock of 7 RIR's that are in their 22nd week of life. Our first egg came at 19 1/2 weeks from 'Greta' and after an on again off again start, she laid 15 in a row and then took a two day break. She started again yesterday and then today, Goldie started laying along with her. Two in one day. We're egg-static, as you might egg-spect! Hoping the other five take the hint and start soon.

Congratulations! 3 out of my 4 are laying, waiting for my SS to start. She's 6 months old but I'm told they are slow maturing so we'll just wait and see....
