Hi to all,

Well, today is day 37, and baby is still alive and trying so hard to internally pip. He’s pecking in the same spot like crazy!
I’m very worried that he hasn’t pipped yet and the air sac is very saddled.

These are much better pictures. He is pecking at the low, triangular shaped spot.
I have a great video of what’s going on, but no matter what I do I can’t upload it!
I’d love for you to see it and get your feedback on what’s happening.

If someone could help me with this I’d really appreciate it. I have uploaded them to Facebook and TikTok but cannot get them uploaded here.

Anyway, please look at today’s pictures. As he should have pipped by now.
Muscovy eggs hatch between 34-38 days, and my little one hasn’t even internally pipped yet!!!
We are so invested in this little one and I literally check every hour throughout the night to make sure everything is as it should be.
This is the only surviving egg so far, as I have staggered ages in my incubator.
My girl has been laying since January 23rd!!!

Thank you in advance for any help you could offer. ❤️

Blessings,
Amy

Firstly, I have never had ducks!
But if it was a chicken egg, are you sure the 'saddle' isn't actually an internal pip?
To me, it looks like its head in the air cell.
For a video, can you upload to YT, and post a link?

You can upload the video to you tube then share the link here
I see the yellow bruising beside the air cell and that’s they I see on my eggs with internal pips
A video would really help us to see better
If he isn’t in yet he will be shortly
Stay calm baby is alive and trying
There is a lot to be positive about

I did upload to YouTube but I still can’t do it. There must be something wrong with me. Lol!
I don’t think he pipped because I don’t see his beak moving, just pushing.
I wish I could post the video!! Ugh!
