Toilet Duck Waterer Idea

So I was thinking.... You know how our birds are pigs with their water and need new daily etc...?

Has anyone ever made a toilet into a duck waterer? Fill the back with water (or hook up a hardline/hose without a tank) and hit the flush daily to clear the old and get the new in then bury it down to a reasonable level.

Obviously clean it first or find one that was not used...

Toilets don't work the way they would need to work for your idea to be feasible. The toilet would need to be connected to an outlet to be able to flush it. The toilet would also need to have the flushing part disabled if you wanted to fill the level up enough that the ducks could reach the water. To prove this part to yourself, pour a large bucket of water into your toilet and watch it flush without you having pushed the flush handle.
