Howdy y'all.. here's the chicks from my order.. Well the order was for the tolouse goose and the chicks are the "warmers" for the geese. Hah. I ordered the geese from Ideal as a birthday present for my mom. The chicks were added for warmth (12 chicks). The chicks are unknown breed as ideal doesn't identify the warmers. 5 of the warmers have expired so far and one isn't looking too hot. The other 6 are peeping like crazy, eating and drinking well. The geese look great, very alert, eating and drinking a lot.

I have no idea what the chickens are as far as breed but they're probably all roos.

Tolouse Goose???? is that really the name of a breed? If so, that's incredibly funny and cute!

Yeah that's what they're called. My mom had one for a couple of years and the neighbors darn dog got it. She's been pretty bumed about it so I got her a pair of them for her birthday.

This is what they look like grown out..

Beautiful Goslings and "packing peanuts." Actually the goose you have in the picture above is a cross. Probably between a Toulouse and an African or chinese goose. I got this pic from feathersite...this is what your pair should look like when they get older.
Good Luck and keep us updated as the grow!
