We are leaving bedroom window open so we can hear what is going on outside at night. My interest is in when dogs tree raccoon that keeps coming up fen but does not get into trap line. I want to get out there promptly so dogs not treeing it all night long and it can be dispatched. There is 16 roosters crowing as well, and you can distinguish them all, even the five in the barn. That is not the real issue. It is the tom cats fighting sometimes in and behind the barn. I can make out at least three. Two were actually in barn banging against walls while fighting. The flea bags ignore the pups barking at them from their pens. The cats are feral to my knowledge.

I can sleep through crowing and most of the owls hooting, frogs calling, and songbirds singing, but not all the caterwauling.

There are TNR programs for feral cats. (Trap, neuter, release) Check your county.....
That exact thing was done right on other side of fence last year. Lady doing it thought cats were mine and would not return calls when I asked about traps set near my barn. Toms must have not been caught. Someone across the fence is feeding a lot of cats, opossums and raccoons.

The lady is more than welcome to come back.
