Do you feed your chickens ripe tomatoes?

Yes. The chickens love them. My wife and I like to garden, but since there is just the two of us, we have a lot of extra garden produce. Much of it goes to the hens.

I grow a lot more tomatoes than I can consume and preserve so I feed the extras to the chickens. The seem love them.

I use the outside of the run fencing to trellis the cherry tomatoes. Have to protect the plants till they get higher the chickens can can reach. They get most of them, the not yet ripe, the ripe that fall and the over ripe.
