Already tonight I have a pip and a hole in an egg of a silkie from the smallest egg in the incubator. I have 15 eggs ( 8 silkie, 2 cuckoo marans, 2 Jersey giants, and 3 Americauna which only one those has possibility of hatching I think) which I know I have overhandled with trying to candle every day. I never could see veins or movements people talk about, but was able to see the formations growing from inside. Hopefully I did everything right. I laid the eggs onto their sides during lockdown instead of placing them in egg carton containers. Well, tomorrow's the day to be welcoming new chicks into this world:)!

It is SO eggsiting!

I love hearing their little peeping. Just remember, keep the bator closed, no matter how you long to help. My first time seeing them hatch was in May and I stayed up all night just to see it happen at 4:45 in the morning. It does become addicting and then you have chicken math problems.

GOOD LUCK!

I already have chicken match problems it seems. I just started with the chicken raising in april and alreay have 21 chickens outside....20 now as a dog killed one. These in the bator will up that number and I'm already thinking about what I'm going to get for the next month!
