Tone Deaf Congressional Rep Filemon Villa- sent me a "Happy Vet Day" Email

This is under random ramblings as I am a vet. Please never thank me for my service as initially I was just a minion. I believed I was serving the state. I never go out chasing vet freebies at resteraunts as after reviewing documents published from the "Chilcot report" know that my brothers lives were wasted. I always feel like telling people I didn't serve I was used.

I personally stayed in the game as I had a child to raise to adulthood. She is still such an awesome and incredible thing now at 25 years of age she was worth it all. She had a great education as we moved all over this great land with DOD and US public education. She chose Germany over the US for her future and is doing very well now. Regardless, I served through several campaigns and have a chest full of worthless medals but the only one that I care about is my girl.

Please remember that 11.11 is a day of remembrance and not a day for BBQ and celebration for those of us who chose to serve and lost brothers in arms.
