too fat?

How do I tell if my chickens are to fat? I hear that an adult bird of a certian breed should weigh X amount. I dont buy that line because some of my birds are just down right bigger than other ones of same age and breed. Are there any other clues? I mean its not as easy as seeing a big pot belly or fat rolls. or is it? any help appreciated.

LMAO! I have no clue. I do have a chick that is about 6weeks old. She is a black cochins and was the largest chx of the 5. Now she is just the roundest of them all. I too hope I'm not overfeeding. But all they do is eat. Hope someone can help us.
