Too late to let her hatch?

I have a silkie that is sitting on 4 eggs (only one is hers) and absolutely gets furious when we try to take them. We live in PA, and the weather is nice now, but I'm worried if I let her hatch these peeps that they won't make it due to the cold...will she keep them warm in the winter, or should I take her eggs and let her hatch some in the spring?

How bad do your winters get? Do you have a garage or protected area they could "winter over," If your winters are not early and harsh, I think they could be fine with mama in a draft free, coop.

Mama will keep them warm, as long as she is a good mother, even the harshest weather she will get them through. She will find them food and be their heater when they need it.
