Too late to use a broody?

My little OEGB has two eggs. One hatched this evening.
My daughter and I bought some bantam babies at TSC yesterday. I want to try giving them to the Mama hen.
Should I do it now or closer to morning?
Since the store chicks are already eating and drinking, will I be creating a problem if the hen doesn't get off the nest for another day so they can eat?
