Hello..does anyone know of a way to reduce the amount of flies in the chicken house & run that won't harm the chickens? I tried raking up the droppings but no luck.

Daily manure removal is the best way to keep flies to a minimum. I rake under roosts every morning and remove the manure. My coops have no smell and very, very few flies.

I just purchased some fly predators (you can google that to find them) and they arrived on Saturday. By Sunday they were ready to release and I put most of them in my compost. Already today I can notice a difference in that there are almost no flies around the compost and less in the yard and around the coop!
